Sometimes, closing a deal is as easy and fun as playing a game for Teles agent Brian Backstrom. In his case, the game is golf, and the avid golfer and respected agent knows his way around the links just as well as he knows how to negotiate a high level deal. Known as having flair for outstanding customer service and encyclopedic knowledge of his market, Backstrom loves sinking a birdie as much as he loves making sure his clients needs are met.
“Helping people achieve their goals is the most rewarding aspect of my job,” says Backstrom, and he’s just as enthused about that as he is about his home in Shady Canyon. It was there in Irvine that Backstrom caught the attention of the Orange County Business Journal as he represented the buyer of a 10,000 sq. ft home at 21 Boulder View in Irvine, closing a $7.9 million deal on January 20th.
The French Provencal manor rests on a manor nearly an acre in size, and features views of the local hills and golf course. Over three levels one can find five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a garage that has space for five cars. The property also has a guest house – just in case things get a little crowded and you need to spread out a little.
The home is part of the Shady Canyon development, which itself features trails for horses, hiking and biking, as well as the aforementioned golf course. Also available are pools, spas and private picnic areas. “We love the open space and incredible weather of this fabulous community and the surrounding areas,” Backstrom says. “We have made so many friends and long-lasting relationships and look forward to spending many more years here.”
Backstrom’s love for his home and work clearly shines through his work and the relationships he builds with his clients, both on and off the green.
