Profile

Ernie Carswell is, very simply, one of the most accomplished and respected real estate agents in the industry today. The ‘secret’ of his success? “It’s about hands-on involvement,” says Ernie. “I take my business very personally.”

Real estate agents are distinguished both by their success with clients and by their reputation. Ernie’s track record is stellar on both counts. He’s a consistent top producer in the fiercely competitive Los Angeles Westside marketplace, and his personal approach has earned him the respect of his clients
and peers.

Ernie prides himself on being directly involved with all aspects of a sale or purchase, and with the clients themselves. “I work tirelessly and put forth a lot of effort to make sure my clients’ properties get seen by the right buyers,” he says. This hands-on method has paid off – his rate of successful closings is nearly 95 percent.

A South Carolina native, Ernie’s real estate career began in the exclusive Highland Park neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. In the 1980s he moved to New York, gaining new perspective as an agent on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. He moved to California in 1990 and has been here ever since, representing an extensive roster of satisfied clients including Fortune 500 CEOS, professional entertainers, top studio executives, attorneys, government officials, ambassadors and foreign dignitaries.

Ernie is a supporter of the Los Angeles Conservancy, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Fulfillment Fund for Scholastic Achievement and the Venice Family Clinic.

"Ernie Carswell is truly an extraordinary professional. Rarely have I ever felt so completely at ease with the process and finish of a property sale as I did with Ernie and his team. He was there for me day and night , through challenging negotiations and fought very hard on my behalf. Ernie has sold homes for friends with most excellent results and now I know first hand why they all give him such high marks. I will use Ernie again knowing I will be treated fairly, honestly and with the ultimate positive completion of the transaction." ~ --Donald Gray
