Growing up in an artistic household in a historic 18th-century home in upstate New York and living in the loft spaces of Manhattan’s Lower East Side in the early 1980s inspired Elizabeth’s belief that your space should reflect your individuality, and helped her develop her talent for connecting people to living spaces that inspire them. Throughout her nearly 20 years in Southern California real estate she has maintained a strong connection to Los Angeles’ music and art world, but whether her client is an artist, writer, musician, or business-person, she understands their common desire to find an interesting place to hang your hat—that nothing cookie-cutter will do.

After graduating from State University of New York at Purchase in 1986 with a BA in Literature, Elizabeth’s passion for music and art fueled by her interest in business drew her out to California. Here, she sharpened her abilities in finance and negotiation while working at securities brokerages and investment banking firms such as Prudential Bache and Wasserstein Perella (while she honed her cooking and management skills at chef school at night).  In 1995 her real estate career “officially” began as Property Manager for a landmark art-deco building in Westwood. When that building’s razing became central to the eventual building of The Palazzo West on the same spot, it brought her into contact with major developers in Los Angeles. That exposure, combined with her business background—and her tenacity—led to her branching out and becoming one of the top property managers of luxury properties in the city. At companies such as AIMCO, Casden Properties, and JH Snyder Co., she sold, leased, managed, and helped build major developments around town. Her most recent project was the Crescent Beverly Hills, now AKA on Crescent Drive.

And as an advocate for her clients Elizabeth’s focus is always on customer service, helping clients define and meet their goals and envision a future in a place they can find their unique selves. Thanks to her father, a master craftsman, she possesses a great deal of experience with construction and is particularly familiar with vintage homes, and, truly committed to her clients’ success, creative problem-solving is her specialty. “I love So Cal—its rich history, the glamour and the grit of Hollywood, and of course the varied architecture, is ceaselessly interesting. There is really something here for everyone.”
