Buyer’s social media use is on the rise. The California Association of Realtors asked homebuyers in 2011 and 52% used social media in the house hunting process. In 2012 it jumped to 68%, and 2013 jumped again to 75%, and finally the latest numbers for 2014 are up to 77%. Buyers reported they were searching for home-buying tips, looking for agent referrals from friends and more. See the info graphic below.
